PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA AJAR POWERPOINT INTERAKTIF BERBASIS SAINTIFIK PADA MATERI PENGENALAN ILMU KIMIA

Abstract

The effective learning process has not been fully implemented in understanding the material of introduction to chemistry that represents the concept of science with everyday life. Due to limited teaching materials, the learning model is still conventional plus the implementation of the Independent Curriculum is considered to require the role of students to be active in learning. Interactive PowerPoint media utilizing technology helps the limitations of teaching media by integrating scientific approaches. This study aims to: 1) know the process of developing interactive powerpoint teaching media with a scientific approach to chemistry introduction material 2) know the level of validity of interactive powerpoint development products 3) know student responses to the development of powerpoint media. Using development research of Thiagarajan's simplified 4D model into 3D. The results of research and development show that interactive powerpoint teaching media with a scientific approach to chemistry introduction material 1) the process of developing interactive powerpoint teaching media using the Microsoft PowerPoint application by activating the Enabled Macros option and the help of other applications. 2) Have a "very feasible" category with an average validation result of the material expert team of 94.5% and 93.9% in the validation of the media expert team. Teaching media according to Learning Outcomes, presented interactive (providing feedback to students) in the form of slides containing text, images, audio and video to small quizzes. 3) Student responses were obtained on average by 80.6% in the very good category.

Abstrak

Proses pembelajaran yang optimal (efektif) belum sepenuhnya diterapkan dalam memahami materi pengenalan ilmu kimia yang merepresentasikan konsep sains dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Karena keterbatasan bahan ajar, metode pembelajaran yang digunakan masih bersifat konvensional. Selain itu, pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka dianggap memerlukan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar. Media powerpoint interaktif memanfaatkan teknologi membantu keterbatasan media ajar dengan mengintegrasikan pendekatan saintifik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui proses pengembangan media ajar powerpoint interaktif dengan pendekatan saintifik pada materi pengenalan ilmu kimia 2) mengetahui tingkat validitas produk pengembangan powerpoint interaktif 3) mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pengembangan media powerpoint. Menggunakan penelitian pengembangan (development research) model 4D Thiagarajan. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa media ajar powerpoint interaktif dengan pendekatan saintifik pada materi pengenalan ilmu kimia 1) proses pengembangan media ajar powerpoint interaktif menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft PowerPoint dengan mengaktifkan options Enabled Macros dan bantuan aplikasi lain. 2) Memiliki kategori “sangat layak” dengan rata-rata hasil validasi tim ahli materi sebesar 94,5% dan 93,9% pada validasi tim ahli media. Media ajar sesuai Capaian Pembelajaran, tersaji interaktif (memberikan feedback kepada siswa) berupa slide berisi teks, gambar, audio dan video hingga kuis kecil. 3) Respon siswa diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 80,6% dengan kategori sangat baik.
