ANALYSIS OF THE NEED FOR DEVELOPING LKPD BASED ON GUIDED INQUIRY ON VOLTA CELL MATERIAL FOR CLASS XII HIGH SCHOOL
Abstract
This study describes the analysis of the need for the development of LKPD based on guided inquiry on Volta cell material in grade XII high school. The main goal is to find out the response of teachers and students to the needs of LKPD development. The method used is a mixed method, with instruments in the form of structured interviews and questionnaires to identify the needs of teachers and students in chemistry learning. This LKPD development model uses the ADDIE model, from the analysis stage to development which is then combined with Tessmer's formative evaluation. Needs analysis data was obtained from one chemistry teacher and 35 students of grade XII Science 1 SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that LKPD based on guided inquiry on Volta cell material is urgently needed in learning, as evidenced by the results of interviews with teachers and the results of student questionnaire analysis which shows that 83% of students expect the development of the LKPD.
